If you are approaching Leyburn from the East: From the A1 (Leeming Bar), onto the A684, after passing through several villages you will enter Leyburn with Tennants Auctioneers and Business Park on your right, followed by Wensleydale railway station also on your right. Just after this take the FIRST LEFT immediately past the Petrol Station, signposted Middleham (A6108). The road goes down a hill and bends to the left. Slow down before this bend (it is a blind corner) TURN LEFT on this bend into the drive of Craken House Farm. Proceed down the drive as far as you can go. The drive bears RIGHT between the farm buildings and house. Follow the sign and track for Meadow Barn, which takes you to the parking area outside the cottage.
If you are approaching Leyburn from the West: From either Hawes, through Wensleydale or via Wharfedale and Bishopdale, onto A684. Pass the village of Wensley. When you reach Leyburn TURN RIGHT at mini roundabout and go past the market square. TURN RIGHT just before Petrol Station, signposted Middleham (A6108) then follow directions as above.
