 Meadow Barn  is a delightful, five star, holiday cottage with spectacular views of Wensleydale. A peaceful, romantic retreat, for those wishing to unwind in glorious surroundings. This newly converted 19th century barn is set in its own grounds surrounded by fields. The single storey cottage faces south with uninterrupted views of Middleham moor, Penhill and across Wensleydale.

What to see and do

 

 This beautiful self-catering accommodation, for two adults, has an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. With a crackling log burning stove, TV. DVD and Radio/CD and plenty of books and games to while away the evenings. The kitchen is equipped with fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

 The bedroom has a king size double bed and the en-suite bathroom has a thermostatic shower over an extra wide bath. All bedding and towels are supplied. The cottage also has a utility room housing the boiler, which feeds the under floor heating. There is a washer/dryer and sink, great for washing muddy boots after a hike over the moors.

 This holiday cottage has the best of both worlds. Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet only a mile away from the market town of Leyburn, with all its amenities, grocery stores, pubs, tearooms and The Wensleydale Railway.

Whether you love walking and touring the dales or just content to relax and take in the scenery, this is the ideal cottage to experience both. We hope that it will be a most enjoyable and relaxing holiday experience.
